Just saw Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel in which DV herself pontificates about American style, Jack Nicholson and feminism. Amazing.

I cannot stop thinking about her all red, Billy Baldwin decorated sitting room. More really is more.

Terraferma, directed by Emanuele Crialese.

Just as beautiful and moving as Respiro and The Golden Door, his two previous films. All three are set on a small island between Sicily and Tunisia called Lampedusa. I highly recommend (all three). Trailer here.
